Thing 1: Start Your Own Blog

So, here is my blog... I have used blogger in the past and do think it is great and easy to use.

I have never made an avatar before. I didn't know Yahoo even had this feature. Actually, I really don't ever use Yahoo because I like Google's services better. However, I did enjoy making the avatar. Although I do have a few complaints. They don't have any glasses that look like mine: boring and plain, which is how I like it.

I have played around with the "add a gadget" feature in blogger's Layout view before. You can do some pretty cool things with it. One of my favorites is the 'Slideshow Gadget' (You can get to it the same way you added your Avatar as a gadget. Anyway, the slideshow lets you display a slideshow of your photos from Flickr, Picasa, and Photobucket.
